Economic Development News Conference to be Held Thursday, May 29 |

BOWLING GREEN, KY-The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Bowling Green, and the County of Warren will host a news conference tomorrow, Thursday, May 29, at 10 a.m. at the Carroll Knicely Conference Center to announce a new economic development project locating in South Central Kentucky.
Narrowing its search from 200 locations to its final decision of locating here in South Central Kentucky, the as-yet-undisclosed company will invest $7.28 million and create 350 new jobs over the course of three years.
This announcement will create a total economic impact of $7.343 million for its first year in South Central Kentucky by employing 120 residents. Their decision to locate in the region will also create 33 indirect jobs within the next year and will result in an indirect revenue of $3.856 million annually, according to an impact model provided by the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce and Applied Economics.
Information sessions regarding employment opportunities with this company will be held on Tuesday, June 3, at 9 a.m., 1 p.m., and 6 p.m., and on Wednesday, June 4, at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. All sessions will be held at the Chamber, located at 710 College Street.
