Sanders to Become Director of Economic Development for Scottsville and Allen County |

SCOTTSVILLE,
KY--Allen
County
and the City of
Scottsville
are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached for Senator Richie Sanders to become the Director of Economic Development for the City and County effective January 2, 2009.
“This is a very positive step in strengthening our economic foundation,” states Allen County Judge Executive Bobby Young. “We have some very strong positives here that we need to market and actively solicit new business and enterprises.”
“Our efforts in economic expansion have just taken a quantum leap forward,” Scottsville Mayor Rob Cline stated. “The inclusion of Richie with our existing team and infrastructure and our ability to interface with surrounding areas will increase the economic pull for Scottsville and Allen County.”
Senator Sanders will be working closely with the Allen County Industrial Development Authority, state and local entities, and the local community in the effort to attract new business and expand existing businesses in the area.
