Chamber to Host Buck Roast in Honor of Warren County Judge Executive Michael Buchanon Contact: Jessica M.L. Thompson, MTPC, IOM Marketing & Communications Director BOWLING GREEN, KY-The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce will host an event on Tuesday, October 16, to roast Warren County Judge Executive Michael Buchanon. The roast and luncheon will begin at 11 a.m. at the National Corvette Museum (350 Corvette Drive, Bowling Green). Online registration is required at www.bgchamber.com. The roast will humorously honor Judge Buchanon for his commitment to South Central Kentucky, and proceeds from the event will benefit the Charles M. Moore Leadership Fund, which is part of the Bowling Green Area Chamber Foundation. The fund provides scholarships for Leadership Bowling Green and support for other Chamber leadership programs. "Judge Buchanon is a tireless contributor to the growth of Warren County, Bowling Green and South Central Kentucky. From his work to help attract new businesses, to helping expand existing companies, to his support of the downtown redevelopment in Bowling Green, he is committed to making Bowling Green and Warren County an even better place to live and raise a family," said Chamber Board of Directors Chairman D. Gaines Penn. Roast speakers will include Warren County Attorney Amy Milliken, Warren County Sheriff Jerry "Peanuts" Gaines, and Bill Leachman, president of Leachman Buick-GMC. The Chamber will also host a silent auction during the event to benefit The Leader in Me™ Capital Campaign. The auction includes items from - The Bistro
