BOWLING GREEN, KY--U.S. Congressman Brett Guthrie, the U.S. Commercial Service, Western Kentucky University and the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce will host events on Tuesday, March 13, to highlight exporting opportunities for South Central Kentucky businesses.

The U.S. Commercial Service is the trade promotion arm of the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration. U.S. Commercial Service trade professionals in over 100 U.S. cities and in more than 75 countries provide services and support to increase exports of U.S. goods and services and support job growth.

 

News Conference

The news conference will publicly acknowledge the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce as a supporter of the U.S. Commercial Service's efforts to promote greater awareness of exporting. Congressman Brett Guthrie, U.S. Commercial Service leaders, and representatives from the Chamber and WKU will participate in the news conference.

 

Informational Session - No Cost to Attend!

Learn about Exporting 101 and find out the answers to questions like: How can the U.S. Commercial Service benefit your business? What steps do you need to take to begin exporting? Is there financial support for businesses that want to begin exporting?
