2009 Bowling Green & South Central Kentucky Magazine Receives ADDY® Award

BOWLING GREEN, KY— The 2009 edition of the “Bowling Green & South Central Kentucky” magazine, produced by the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with CommunityLink, has been awarded a prestigious honor from the American Advertising Federation (AAF).


AAF’s annual “ADDY®” awards recognize and honor published marketing materials for excellence. The 2009 “Bowling Green & South Central Kentucky” magazine, which provides an overview of the business, educational, health, government and recreational highlights of the South Central Kentucky region, won the Silver ADDY® Award for Direct Marketing in the “Business to Business Consumer” category.


“More than 15,000 copies of the magazine are distributed annually promoting our region to potential new residents and businesses looking to locate in a community like ours. To have our publication receive this top-of-the-line designation reinforces that the product effectively communicates the many attractive aspects of our region,” said Vice President of Chamber Operations Tonya Matthews, IOM, ACE.
