BOWLING GREEN, KY-The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce announced today that Jennifer Ford will now serve as the Chamber’s director of project administration. In this position, Jennifer will be responsible for managing economic development projects, implementing the marketing plan, and coordinating economic development special events, among other responsibilities.

“Jennifer is a very talented individual, and she will continue to bring great strength to the South Central Kentucky partnership,” said Dan Preston, Chamber vice president of economic development. “With years of experience in economic development and event planning, Jennifer will continue to play a large role in our efforts to attract and retain industries.”

Ford joined the Chamber in November 2004 as the economic development coordinator. Prior to joining the Chamber, Ford worked for the Madisonville-Hopkins County Economic Development Corporation.

Ford is a graduate of Western Kentucky University, the Kentucky Institute for Economic Development and the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute.  She is also an active member of the Kentucky Association for Economic Development.

Incorporated in 1935, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is the driving force for economic development in South Central Kentucky. As one of only 336 chambers nationwide to be accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the fourth largest chamber in Kentucky, the Chamber serves as a premier business advocate for its more than 1,300 partners. Its primary goals are to promote growth and success in the business community, reaching its small business partners and those in large industries alike. With leadership programs, governmental relations projects, educational initiatives and involvement opportunities, the Chamber aims to support the community and its neighbors in order to enhance the business climate and continue to grow the region.
