Chamber Announces 2009 Leadership Bowling Green Class

BOWLING GREEN, KY-The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the names of those invited to participate in the 2009 Leadership Bowling Green Program. The class will be made up of 30 business leaders who actively participate in the Bowling Green community.


Leadership Bowling Green is an eight-month leadership training program sponsored by the Chamber. Participants are selected through an application process by the Leadership Bowling Green Advisory Board. Participants in the 2009 Leadership Bowling Green Program are:

Jon Schubarth of Warren County Water District will serve as the program chair for 2009. Michelle Disney of National City - PNC Bank will be the program co-chair. Schubarth said, "It's very exciting to begin a new year of Leadership Bowling Green. The students we've chosen are an excellent group, and I'm looking forward to seeing what new leadership skills they gain as they go through the program."


Chamber Program Director Beth Oliphant oversees Leadership Bowling Green. "We had an impressive group of applicants once again this year.  I commend the Advisory Board for narrowing down those applications to 30, which is always a difficult job. I'm looking forward to working with the class, as well as with Jon and Michelle."
