BOWLING GREEN, KY - Applications for Leadership Bowling Green will be available beginning January 2, 2009, online at
bgchamber.com.

Program Director Jennifer Breiwa, along with Program Chair Jon Schubarth and Co-Chair Michelle Disney, is excited about the upcoming program. Breiwa said, "LBG continues to be one of our most popular Chamber programs. The class, which is made up of 25 to 30 local business leaders, is introduced to all aspects of our city by visiting a variety of locations and discussing the inner workings of government, business, education, and healthcare, among many other topics."

An eight-month leadership development program, Leadership Bowling Green begins with a retreat in April and ends with graduation in November. The class meets for one full day during each of those months and travels outside of Bowling Green for both the spring and fall retreats. Tuition is $1,000, which pays for all materials, meals, and lodging.

"Leadership Bowling Green is a must for all business leaders in the community.  It provides an opportunity for individuals to increase their knowledge of this great community, better appreciate why diversity of commerce, education, and government make Bowling Green the place to live, and develop new friendships with fellow classmates," said Tim Earnhart, 1998 class graduate and CEO of Liberty and Earnhart & Friends.

Applications will not be mailed or faxed. The application deadline is Friday, January 30, 2009, at 4:30 p.m. CST. For additional information, contact Jennifer Breiwa at 270-781-3200 or
