Chamber Offers Next Business at its Best Seminar Series Event Grow From Within: Developing a High Performance Team with Limited Resources Contact: Jessica M.L. Thompson, Marketing & Communications Director 270-781-3200; jessica@bgchamber.com BOWLING GREEN, KY—The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to present its next Business at its Best Seminar—Grow from Within: Developing a High Performance Team with Limited Resources—on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, in partnership with Bowling Green Technical College. This seminar will provide an overview of training principles collected from case studies of Fortune 500 businesses. Attendees will be introduced to team development basics and provided with practical take-aways to implement in their businesses to develop a high performing team. The two-hour seminar begins at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Registration is required online at www.bgchamber.com. Seminar cost is $15 for Chamber partners and $25 for non-partners. Breakfast will be provided by President’s Club Platinum Star Partner Citizens First. “2011 Chairman Rodney Rogers and Chamber staff met with hundreds of small business owners last year and gathered valuable information about our partners’ needs and wants,” said 2012 Chamber Board of Directors Chairman D. Gaines Penn. “These discussions led us to create the Business at its Best Seminar Series, which are low-cost opportunities for business education and development.” The seminar series will be held on a monthly basis and will address numerous topics for business owners. Participants will leave each seminar with valuable, practical information that can be immediately applied to their businesses.
